Crowns
If your tooth is broken, worn or destroyed by tooth decay but not lost, a crown (also called a cap) can be used to cover the damaged part of your tooth. A crown protects your tooth from further damage. Crowns are cemented over your existing tooth structure to fully cover your natural tooth.
Bridges
A bridge is used to replace missing teeth to give you better ability to chew. A bridge is a permanent restoration, it is not removable. It helps bridges the gap between permanent teeth and a missing tooth/teeth.
White Fillings
White/tooth colored fillings are an alternative to silver (amalgam) fillings. White fillings are made of a strong composite resin that is matched to the surrounding tooth color. In the past, white fillings were only placed on front teeth, but recently a stronger more durable material has been developed that can withstand the chewing pressure of back teeth.
Dentures and Partials
Stonebridge Dental believes that the best teeth are your own teeth. We will do all we can to help make sure you teeth your teeth. But in some cases a denture maybe our only option. We do our best to make them look as natural as possible. Please keep in mind you should still have a yearly oral cancer exam.
